Hi,

Below are my suggestion, check if this helps

On printer’s Control panel

Go to System Setup -> Energy setting

Under Energy Settings set the desire option/time accordingly

- Sleep/Auto Off After

- Shut Down After

- Delay Shut Down

Hope this helps you !

Does nothing to deal with the issue of the flashing standby light and does not answer my question about what was meant in the firmware upgrade description when it mentioned the standby light.

I m the second. Updated to newest firmware, no help. It's shouldn't that hard to change the firmware. Disappointed.

I too just purchased this printer and would love to have the capability to shut off the stand by light. Or at least keep it on at all times if it's on.

If you log into the web control panel via the printer's IP address you can change it to an hour (1 hour) but I would prefer if you could just completely turn it off.

Hello. Just bought M277dw printer. Everything is awesome, but standby led blinking really disturbs. Hoping for a fix in upcoming firmware update. Thanks!

This thread has been going on for some time now and they have not made any progress on this issue.  I would suggest doing what I did to remedy the situation, return the printer.
