my printer 1510 is not any printig

This **bleep** doesn't help. What kind of support is this? I have the same problem, and it's a completely new printer. Looks like I'm never buying HP again. Not only does this not help, but the software is garbage.

You don't list a solution for people with Windows 10.  I've tried cleaning the cartridge, it shows ink left in it but it prints blank pages instead of black ink.  The test page showed the color fine.

Just like to agree with previous post.

I'm not near anywhere where I can get a replacement cartridge quickly.

My black cartridge won't print despite several attempts at cleaning. The colour cartridge which is supposed to have less ink than the blank cartridge is printing fine. The black cartridge estimated ink is above 50%.

I don't know if it's at all relevant but this is the first time I've used the printer since installing Windows 10. I suspect it's not relevant given that the colour cartridge is printing fine.

Any help would be appreciated - thanks.

Mine wouldn't print after installing Windows 10 either and the cartridge is almost full.
I just tried the color and the test page printed with some blue, everything else was missing.
I suspect it's a driver problem as it worked fine before installing Windows 10.  I updated drivers and it didn't help.  I wish HP would read this forum and respond.  Whis was a new printer and it's the cartridges that came with it.  There's plent of ink left and I tried cleaning twice.

hey, mine had the same problem  - only had the black cartridge installed and the printer would "print" but just not lay any ink on the paper. i suspected the cartridge head had dried up so i used a baby wipe and wiped over the cartridge head several times till the ink started flowing again - and it worked! im sure a damp peice of paper towel would work as well.

pretty useless of HP to suggest trying a new cartridge - because they are so cheap and all..

good luck

I've done everything they suggest...uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drivers, cleaned cartridges (it should have plenty of ink although I don't see where it shows you how much is left).  I've downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor, went through that, no help.  It says everything is fine; however, it doesn't print black ink.  I'm going to buy another cartridge and see if that helps.  It seems awfully coincidental that this happened right after upgrading to Windows 10.
