HP Officejet Pro 6830

I was trying to scan a document and send it to my email. When I hit the email icon. Then the error message came up

Not using the printer for faxing. Just through wireless

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.

 

I see that you are having some issues with Scan to Email on your Officejet 6830 e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that.


To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. While the printer is powered off, remove the power cable from the back of the router for one minute. 
  3. When the lights return on the router, turn the printer on.
