HP Officejet 6100
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The printer is on.  The HP eprint button light is off and will not stay on after blinking 4 or 5 times.  But the wireless button light (blue) is continually blinking and I cannot stop it  --  I believe that it should be on constantly.  It may be a clue as to why I cannot get my printer to print when I send it a file via the printer's  email address.

Blue wireless light blinking means your printer is not connected to your routers SSID with password, wirelessly.   You need to connect your printer to your routers SSID with password.

Try this first.  Power off printer and router.  Power on router and wait 3 mins.  Power on printer and verify it connects to your routers SSID with password.

How do I verify that myprinter connects to my routers SSID with password?           Graham84

Well you can check by accessing your routers internal DHCP table to see if the printer is connected.  Or...

Download and follow the instructions in the User Guide to reconnect.

Here is your full support site.  You will need your Printer USB cable to reconnect following the instructions.
