printer M426fdn
Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Hello!

I have RDP server (Win2012R2 ENG)
Clients win10(1607), win10(1809)

On Client and Server installed the same drivers
HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426f-M427f (lastest)

Printer has duplex module (2-sided printing) and perfectly work on clients.

But, when i log on to RDP server, redirected printer has no duplex unit installed and I cannot change this setting.
Even, when I click on "Change properties" in "General".

I tried older drivers, but effect the same.

On RDP I can use only manual 2-sided printing.

Why this happens?

Please ensure the duplex option is installed for your printer:

Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right-click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.

You may need to perform these steps on both the host and the client, then check for any difference.

It seems that it is a driver issue. Id just does not redirect device settings. How can we force a procedure on HP site to deal with this issue?
