     i hav Product: HP LaserJet Pro M1213nf Multifunction Printer   operating system is windows 7 and windows 8

 

 

my scanner was unable to scan the documents through wireless in both the windows7 and windows8. when i am trying to scan my documents from my laptop i was not able to scan my laptop it  is showing busy and it is remaining same it is not scanning

  

Later i tried with my desktop it's working and i was able to scan with my desktop but still i was not able to scan documents by laptop

 

pls solve this issue

Hi sriram69,

 

Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that you are unable to scan with your HP Laserjet pro M1213nf Multifunction printer, to your Laptop. I am happy to help you! Please try the following steps:

 

  1. Make sure your printer's power cable is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
  2. Please try our HP Print and Scan Doctor program on the Laptop, and let me know what happens!
