This has now been over a year in attempting to figure this out --including NUMEROUS calls/emails to tech support, calls to Apple, and even an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT replacement printer (having gone from the Officejet 7310 to the Officejet Pro L7680) --and yet, this problem still persists.

Basically, when printing a document that uses the entire page, the very last line at the very bottom of the page gets cut off --i.e. doesn't get printed.

We have tried uninstalling/re-installing, the previously mentioned different replacement, trying a different driver, and pretty much everything under the sun, and it's still happening.

(FYI the printer will print the entire document when photo-copying)

The ONLY way around this is by my choosing "Borderless Printing", but that takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to print just one document.

Both "sides" are now "shrugging their shoulders" with me in the middle --so I thought there may be some users who have had this similar problem.

This is using my MacBook Pro (Intel) with Tiger 10.4.11, connecting via USB

OK.  I called HP before on this.  Didn't get anywhere.  I usually just add dashes on the bottom of the page when I print.  I was told to reinstall also.  I have 2 dashes lines. and now its still cutting the last pages anyone resolve this?  Thanks for nothing HP.

From what app are you printing? Did you check the margins that are set in that app? They may be set to a larger bottom margin than the printer is actually capable of.

I am using microsoft office.  Its not the margins.  Even if its a half page it still cuts just the last line or half to 3/4 of the last line.

Oh, that is strange. Are any other lines of text within the document cut off?

It usually is text.

Yeah, but are there any other lines of text, above the last line, that are also cut off?

Did you try the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page?
