I recently purchase the HP Envy 5530 and used it to print photo 8x10's at a convention. How many color photos should I get when using a standard 8x10 print? I seemed to average 15 pages and really burned through a lot of HP61 and HP 61XL ink. I used the normal setting for quality. Could something be wrong with my printer? My next convention I may need to print 350-400 8x10 pages. It would be disastrous if I have only get 15 pages per cartridge.

Hello @morabitophoto,
Welcome to the HP support forums.
I understand that you have some questions about how many pages are produced from the HP 61 ink cartridges.
I would like to help.
Each ink cartridge is manufactured for a certain 'page yeild'.
For information about page yield please click the following link.
How HP measures inkjet page yields
You can find the page yield for each cartridge on HP's website.
Select supplies for 'HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer'
If you are printing pictures or photos a lot more in is used.
If you are printing a lot of photos the cartridges will produce a lot less pages.
Depending what country you are in, your printer may be eligible for the instant Ink program.
If you are going to be printing a lot of photos, it will be worth looking into.
