Officejet 7110
Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

My Officejet 7110 was working fine but suddenly the paper feed is a problem.

It pulls in a sheet of letter-size paper about half way, stops and gives me a warning that the wrong size paper is loaded.

So I open up the back, pull out the blank sheet, close the back, push the paper feed warning button and then it wil go ahead and print.

Needless to say, it's a big production to get one printed sheet, not to mention all the paper I'm wasting.

I've repeatedly checked to make sure the document is set up for 8.5X11. Doesn't make any difference.

Does anybody know how to fix this? I'd really appreciate some help.

I understand that you are having some issues with paper jams in your Officejet 7110 ePrinter. I can help you with that.


To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done, this document outlines how to troubleshoot paper jams in your printer.

 

If after followng the above you are still experiencing paper jams, the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP Support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom to discuss options based on your warranty.
