Since about last week, I noticed my printer skipping lines or sometimes paragraphs when I print 15-page documents. It's not constant as for instance when I print the same document in two copies, one will be missing a paragraph whereas the other copy will have that paragraph there.. Usually it's on the lower portion of the page, and once it skips a line/paragraph, it won't print on that same page (incluing footers).
It gets hard to keep track of every document to see which pages need to be reprinted. Anyone else living with these difficulties? the printer is relatively new and has been used for about 3 months now.
I tried cleaning printheads, realigning and running the maintenance tools.. but it's happened again twice today over some 120 pages printed in total throughout morning and afternoon (not in one batch)

Ive done everything here except replacing the printheads...
Happened again yesterday where the first copy of document had a missing paragraph, but the second and third prints of the same multi-page documents did not have the same missing paragraphs.
Could this be a software-driver issue even if everything is up to date?
Or is my printer defective?
It's still under warranty. How would I go about replacing it if it comes down to that? I love the machine, i just cant afford to give my patients medical documents with missing information.

You've done a remarkable job performing the steps suggested earlier, great work 🙂
And don't worry, as we should be able to fix this up with a few more steps and I'll be with you until we ensure this issue is fixed.
I agree that the medical patients cannot get misinformation, As we cannot put them in such curious situations and to avoid the same, I would like to ensure you've checked if the copier works as a standalone without these issues?
If it works fine, that would confirm that this is a software issue and you could attempt deleting the drivers using the below steps and then reinstall it from the HP Website: Click here
I recommend you delete the driver and root level and retry, follow the steps below:
In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
However, if the standalone copier doesn't work as well, that would confirm a hardware malfunction and it's recommended you Contact HP Phone support to setup a hardware replacement of either the printhead or the printer (considering the printer is under HP Warranty, there shouldn't be any charges as such).
