Officejet Pro 6830

Subject printer is unoperable and throwing error: 0xc19a0020 There is a problem with the printhead.

I followed HP 'contact us' links and entered the device serial number and am being informed that the device went out of warranty on February 22, 2016 (25 days ago). Is there any solution for this issue for me?

Thanks

Hi @jeffr1,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I see that your HP Officejet 6830 Printer is reporting a "Printhead Problem". I would be happy to direct you to the correct department that can assist. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.

I understand how frustrating this must be for you. There is a hardware problem with the printer and even though your printer is out of warranty, I highly recommend that you contact HP (due to the nature of the error message on your HP Officejet 6830 Printer),

Contacting HP for service in all countries/regions except Asia Pacific.
What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Check Warranty Status: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/wc/public/home

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear.

Please respond to this post with the results. I look forward to hearing from you. Good Luck! Smiley Happy

I have this same problem with a printhead error. When I submit the form (link below) it shows the text below showing it "appears to be eligible". When I submit the form to request a replacement I got an error "Submission failed". I"ve tried this on various browsers. I contacted support explainging the situation but they said nothing more than to tell me my printer was out-of-warranty. I bought it 18 months ago. Wondering if there is any other way to reach HP regarding this issue in that customer service failed to help?
