HP deskjet 3512
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I was printing a large document when I began getting horizontal white streaks across the page. Thought the ink was out, so changed the cartridge as I have done many times in the past and printed the alignment page. Same thing happened again. Went to the software and had it clean the print heads. Still had the problem after the first cleaning so had it clean the second time. Still no better. What do I do?

Hi there! Sorry to hear about the problem.

May i know if you have tried the "Clean Ink Smear" through your printer's control panel?

You could access that by going to Settings -> Tools -> Clean Ink Smear.

Please let me know if your problem still remains.

Thank you!

Hi,

Have you tried to print the Print Quality Diagnostic Report?

This will help to troubleshoot if the problem is a aligment/printhead issue and if black and/or color is the one with the problem.
