when printing multiple pdf pages w/t graphics and images some of the text is blacked out - right edge of text print line is just a black bar on the first page printed.  example printing pages 23 - 25 only page 23 has the error.  if printing pages 22 - 25 then only page 22 has the error?

Issue:  on Win XP, PCL6 driver networked P2055dn PDF files with graphics over strikes text.
Solution: install "HP Universal Print Driver for Windows - Postscript".
Issue: the Traditional installation mode will fail. Instead use the Dynamic installation mode.

Turn on your networked P2055dn
Google - "HP Universal Print Driver for Windows - Postscript"
Most likely will be top result of the search
Next page under - "Select your product" - select: "HP Universal Print Driver for Windows - Postscript"
Next page under - "Select operating system" select: "Microsoft Windows XP"
Next page under - "Select Driver" select - "Universal Print Driver: 2 - HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PostScript"
Next page: click Download
At completion of download - using Windows Explorer execute (double click) the file just downloaded i.e., upd-ps-x32-......exe
Dialog Box opens - "WinZip Self-Extractor"
Browser to an un_pack_folder.
Then click Unzip
Next Dialog Box opens - "HP Universal Printing Installer":
IMPORTANT click "Dynamic Mode"
Then next-> will take a bit.
When finished "My printers and fax folder" opens
Right click "HP Universal Printing PS" and then click Properties.
Next Dialog Box opens - "HP Universal Printing PS" (make sure the P2055dn is on)
IMPORTANT 1st Select "Add this printer to my printers and fax folder".
Then under "Find a Printer" click - "Search For a Networked Printer".
Should find "HP LaserJet P2055dn [.....]" which you then select.
Then in the "Printers and fax folder" right click HP LaserJet P2055dn [.....]
Then properties and then Print Test Page to confirm the install.
Then optionally click to set this printer as the default.
Next restart the computer and print a pdf file with graphics to confirm the fix.

How does it look in print preview? What version of PDF (reader) you have on the system?

using Adobe Reader X (10.1.2) - does not  have a  print preview function.  the test PDF file comes from

pages 22-24  Page 24 has the problem w/t  the line which begins w/t HP Laser Jet 5P -- then rest of line is black bared.  i am running Win Xp Sp 3.

i used PDF995 to extract just pages 22-24 to another PDF file for test purposes (retired programmer 37 years - do know a bit about how to test) - still does the same thing.  when i print doing exactly the same thing to my Epson 1270 prints fine.

have tried other PDF files and get the same sort of failure  -----------link filtered out please contact me direct for the URL

it appears page in front of failure are graphics, need to be printing double sided.  appears PCL6 (61.93.2.77) has some issues.

can post pdf scans of the print failures and test pdf files on my web site  if that would help?

What do I do if this happens on a Mac OS X 10.9.5 and a Laserjet CP1025nw? And it's not only in specific pages, it prints pieces of the text in black bars on the right edges of all pages!
