Before receiving your private message, I tried to re-start the printer (by normal way).. And  now it seemed work...

This seems to work for me right now, but can you address a couple of questions?

 

  • When it wasn't sending the attachment, where was it saving the file?  As mentioned in my post, I had some pretty critical information on the docs and would like to know where it was saved.
  • What was wrong?  I would like to know so that if it happens again I can mention it in the post or know what to do.

Glad it's working for you.  I am sorry that it wasn't working correctly for you.  The attachment wasn't saved because the scan to email wasn't functioning.   There is no way to go back and retrieve the documents.   It looks like Hp was doing some updates which caused the attachments not to send.

It originally worked, then just stopped and I have the same error and issues as others posted.

I've tried all of the fixes and nothing has worked yet. I tried to manually change the DNS settings, tried turning the printer and wireless off and on again, and all of my other apps are working. It is only the Scan to Email function that is not working. Can you please send me the private message that has worked for everyone else.

Hi NewbieJen,

 

I see that you're having trouble with your scan app.  I have a couple of questions for you.  Are you able to use ePrint and can you access any other apps?
