Photosmart 7520 Scanning Problem

Hello there!

I'm hoping that you can help me.  

I have the PhotoSmart 5520 printer, and cannot scan to my email address.

After I type my four-digit PIN-code (which is 1387), and press "Done", in the PIN-code window there appear TWELVE asterisks.  As though I have typed in twelve digits, when I only typed four!

Then it fails to connect, with the message "Server Connection Error: 411".

I have tried over and over again, and it always fails.

So, I then tried to scan to my computer, instead of to my email address.  (I already have the HP Scan software installed on my computer.)  But the HP Scan software searches and searches for a device, and does not find one.

Please, could you let me know the solution that has been sent to others privately?  (Also, I'm confused as to why it's sent to people privately — why isn't it just posted on the forum, so that other users can benefit from the advice?!)

Hi Guys,

I have the same issue what gfkoehler had with his 7520 printer. I can not print to my e-mail address and I get the same error message. Every other application works on my printer. I have already tried all of the options what garytech1 suggested and the issue is not solved. Please garytech1 send me the same private message what solved gfkoehler's problem. Thank you.

Hello, I am having an issue with my hp photosmarr 7520 all in one printer. It will not scan to email saying its not connected to web services.

I can print from my phone to the printer, all apps work, diagnostic reports connected to internect.

Please help

Hi Gary, could I have the private message please. I've been able to scan to email for months now, and all of a sudden it's stopped. It has access to the LAN. I can browse with other apps so I know it's connected ok.
