Hi Garytech1.  I just bought the HP7250 today and tried all the functions.  Unfortunately, the Scan to Email one does not work.  The first attemp showing an error that it can't send to my email and after I clicked "retry", it did send an email to my inbox, however, without the attachment.  I've tried to set the printer to default and redo all the setup but it still having the same problems.

I see some 7520 owners are also having the same problem.

Would appreciate if you could advise after you have any solutions.

 Thank you.

I have the same problem with my HP 7520.  I receive an error that it can't send to my email and after I clicked "retry", it did send an email to my inbox, however, without the attachment.

Scan to email worked fine until a few days ago.

I have tried all the 'fixes' posted earlier on this forum without success.

May I have that solution?

Hi GaryTech,

I am having the same problem. Tried your fix and did not work. CAn you please send me the "secret reset" instructions?

Thanks!

p.s. this whole issue started about 2 wks ago, when suddenly, when I scanned to email, the email got sent but with no attachment. I have tried your fix in this forum. Have also tried to reboot system by unplugging router and printer, and then turning off and on the eprint app. Nothing has worked. I just seem to be getting more errors. Very frustrating!

Hi,

I have the same problem with my HP 7520.  I receive an error that it can't connect to the webservice.

Scan to email worked fine until a yesterday. I added a friends email adres and since that moment I got the error.

I have tried all the fixes posted, disconnecting router and printer. Changing DNS settings all unfortunate without the desired result.

Same problem here, I have followed all the steps. I would appreciate it if you could send me the secret step.

Hi Guys,

The thread topic has changed a little it seems.  The reset I've been private messaging users fixes the app not working at all.  For instance if you try to access the app you get an error message unable to connect to web services.  If you're experiencing unable to connect to web services when trying to access the app I will be glad to email you the solution.  It will not fix the attachment issue.  I appreciate you guy's patience.  If you have a mobile device then one could try using the Hp Printer Control app it will provide a workaround for the scan to email with no attachment.

I do not have the attachment issue, as far as I know, since I do not get that far into the process. I would appreciate to receive that 'additional' step, please.
