Hi Miicky1981,

Please check your forum inbox.

Hi garytech 1 can you inbox me with the solution for this as well? I tried all of the different apps on the screen and they are all getting the same message "Unable to connect to web services...". I did the wireless network test and all the results are coming back that there are no problems found. I need to fax something urgently so if you could give me a quick fix it would be great! This has never happened before, it would always scan to email without any issues. Thanks!

Hi Cline1022,

I see that you're having problems getting your apps to work.  I will be happy to send steps via the forum inbox, but I want to make sure that it will resolve your issue.  Where you able to complete the steps below?  I

  1. Obtain your printer's IP address

a. This can be done by pressing the wireless icon on printer.

2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

3. Select the network tab at the top of the page.

4. On the left select networking.

5. Select Network Address (IP)

6. Select Manual DNS Server

a. Manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

b. Alternate DNS Server should read. 8.8.4.4

7. Select apply you might get a warning just select okay.

Hi garytech,

When you say "enter the printer's IP address in a browser, do you mean literally type it in at the top of a web page? like you would a website address? when I do that it says it cannot display the page. If i go to google and type it in the search I get all sorts of IP search pages.

That's correct type it where you normally would type a website address.

Tell me the IP address that you're getting?

You might want to double check that your printer is connected to your network.

Hi garytech,

I actually just finally figured it out. I was remotely logged into my company's network and because of that it was blocking the printer from logging onto the web since it's an out of network printer. I logged off and rebooted the printer and was able to scan to email successfully. Thanks.

Great glad you got it working!  :generic:

Hi Garytech 1.

I have the same problem, scan to email. Confirmed internet connection, tried entering 8888/8844, can access other apps. Can I please have the fix as well? Thanks.
