Tell me about your network. What router?  What encryption?

What operating system are you using?

Well I am on OSX Lion. I have Qwest internet that uses a Zyxel PK5000Z modem. I believe it uses a WPA-2 personal security encryption...umm yeah do you need anything else?

OK, sorry, I guess you already said that :).

Have you done all of the suggestions in this thread (set a static IP address, etc)?  If so there are a couple of other things to try:

1. Change your router to channel 11.

2. Move from WPA2 to WPA or if it has a mix mode WPA/WPA2, try that.

3. Get a good router of your own (Linksys or Netgear) and connect it to the Zyxel, then turn the Zyxel radio off.

I have that same problem with my D110 printer. The printer says it is online and working now that I have re-set it up, but my laptop says it can not find it. Before I had reset the printer, my laptop would only say the printer was offline. Can you give me any more suggestions, as I know my IP is 192.168.1.xxx. Thanks for your help!

You did not say what OS you are using.  If Windows, download and run this utility: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-e17-1&h_keyword=dg-NDU&ju...

What does it say?

Hi I am having the same offline issue. The printer is new and never lost connection until I updated to the Latest update. There is a problem in the software. This is the second unit that I have had the first unit did the same thing and I returned it for another (this one). There was no problem until I added the eprint update, the only way to get any response from the unit once it has gone to sleep is to unplug it. none of the buttons, although lit, or touch controls respond. Please fix the update. thanks

you do also need to put in the Default Gateway and primary DNS server which is the router address that you would use to login to your router.  I also had to put '0.0.0.0' in as the secondary DNS server.

leaving any box blank would result in error messages and not save.

Download and install the latest software for your printer from the "Support & Drivers" link at the top of this page.
