Hey @Raquel86,
I understand that you're experiencing network issues on your HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One printer. I would like to work with you today with resolving this issue. You did mention that you have an IP address on the printer. What is that IP address? I just need to verify if it is a valid IP address or not.
In the meantime I'm going to provide you with a standard network troubleshooting step to see if I can get this printer up and running on your network.
Powercycle the Network:
- First, unplug the power cable from the rear of your router.
- With the router unplugged, power off your printer.
- Next power off your computer.
- After 30 seconds plug the power cable for your router back in.
- Next turn on your printer
- Lastly, turn on your computer.
After a few minutes your internet should come back on on your computer. Make sure your internet is working by going to a website. Once you verify that the internet is working see if the printer appears on your Ipad. If it does, try to print to it. If everything works fine it was just a communication issue with the router. If it doesn't work after the powercycle than additional troubleshooting will need to be completed.
Please respond to this post with your IP address and the result of the powercycle of the network. Once I get more information from you I will be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps. Good luck! 🙂
