Designjet T795
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)

We purchased a designjet T795 lately and I try to configure this for ou network.

The printer is connected to ou lan and is visible. I've installed it on a Windows 2008 R2 server and shared it with ou users. Now when using the printer an error appears on the screen of de printer itself: Error 61:01 Wrong file format"

I tried using the t790driver (which gives no issues on windows level), the HPGL2 driver (which gives errors on server when sedning a windows testpage) and PS driver. (same thing as the t790 driver).

Hi,

The error file format is wrong and the printer cannot process the job. You may have sent a

PostScript, PDF, TIFF or JPEG job to a non-PostScript printer. If the job is password-protected,

try sending it without password protection. Otherwise, update your printer's firmware and try

again.

I work for HP but my posts and replies are my own.
