I just updated drivers for my printer, hoping that it would fix problem but it did not!
The Ink Cartridges are referbished but new. There was some mesage that the computer did'nt recognize the printer, or the printer did not recognize the computer.
I have the printer connected by USB cable to the tower right now but don't know if I need to use the Ethernet cable instead?
I also received an ERROR mesage on the preview screen. It says:- Ink System Failure, Ink system has failed. Unable to copy, receive faxes, or print. Refer to printer documentation. ERROR: Oxc18a0106, turn power off, then on again. I tried this prompt also but to no avail?
Please Help? I am desperate, live on a limited income, and I am Disabled.

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are getting an Ink system error on your printer.
Not to worry, I will be glad to help.
If you restart your printer without the refurbished cartridges installed, does the error go away?
Request you reset the printer as suggested in this HP Article and if the issue persists, please contact our phone support for any trade in or service options available for your printer.
