Please, help! I am going to go insane over here!  We have been trying to get this to work for almost a week now.  I have tried to print from a PDF, Word, Publisher, and a JPEG.  Nothing is working.   Some of them print out OK, and many don't.  I need them all to print centered. I have tried every alignment fix I could find!  Help please.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Was there any recent updates to the WIn 10 OS?

Would suggest that you  Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:

1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:

How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software

Hope that helps!

Well, I thought that helped but it did not.  I followed your suggestions last night and I was able to print out about 15 correctly.  I went to print more this morning and they were all back to being off-centered.  So, I followed the directions again (uninstall and reinstall) and it is still printing off-center.

Looks like we will be going to Fedex to print them for us.  And, I will not be purchasing another HP printer ever again. There is absolutely no reason that this simple print job should be messing up.

Thank you, anyway, for trying!

@Melissa91, does the copy function also print off-center?

I am printing on 5 x 7 cardstock so I am not sure how to test the copy function.  I am printing on cardstock with a pre-printed background so I cannot use the copy funtion for this job since it will copy the pre-printed background as well.  I assume.

@Melissa91, how thick is the cardstock?

Have you tried cleaning the rollers?

The cardstock is not very thick....  it's this paper: http://www.gartnerstudios.com/shop/gold-foil-dots-invite.html

"Size: 5" x 7"

Paper Weight: 210 gsm (80lb coverstock) Compatible with both laser & inkjet printers"

We cleaned the rollers, yes.  Still printing sporadically.
