Is there a legitimate tech help phone number I can call? My printer keeps displaying an "Error State" Message or saying that the printer can't find my document when I try to print. I've unplugged both my computer and the printer, restarted my computer, and made sure the wiFi connection is still coming through to my printer, and nothing has worked. I can copy documents using the scanner.

Is there anything else I can try?

Greetings @MirandaZ1362,

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are getting a message on your printer and are unable to print.

Don't worry, I will be glad to help.

What is the operating system installed on the computer?

As you have mentioned that you are able to make a copy, I understand that you can make the message on the printer go away by pressing any button. Is that right?

Did you install a new router or are you using a dual band router?

If you are using any surge protector, please disconnect it and connect the printer power cord to the wall out directly.

Recommend you to do a hard reset on the printer. Refer to step 4 in this article.

Run HP Print and Scan doctor. Click here for assistance.

Clear the print queue, refer to step 3 in the article.

Assign a manual IP address and check. Step 6 in the article.

Let me know if this helped.

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Good Luck.
