I recently received a a new modem from my internet provider, and my wifi network has changed. I can't seem to get my printer to connect to the new wifi network. I've turned both on and off, pressed the wifi button on the printer for 3 seconds, deleted the software and  then reinstalled it, and now I can't seem to add it back in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. After I waited over an hour to speak to someone at HP, they told me I would be better off contacting support and gave me a website address. (hp.com/chat). That is not working.   UGH!!  Please help.

Jodi

Hi,

Press and hold the WiFi and Cancell buttons till the power button starts blinking, then release both buttons.

Power off the printer and back on, ensure the wifi light blinks else press the wifi button till it start blinking.

Now follow HP Easy Start and select the listed printer in Setup mode to reconfigure it for your new router:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/details/hp-easy-start/7376041

If you experience any further difficulties be sure to clarify the exact issue, do you able to access the setup screen or not? may you able but your network name is not listed? etc.

Shlomi

I have the same issue but your instructions didn't help me.  I think that perhaps the printer needs the password for the new network but I do not know where to enter that.

On the setup, it says it cannot see my printer but it does list my printer

I have done that, and even HP easy start says the device cannot be found, even though power is on, and the wifi light is on.

I have had three support chats on this.. Each has blamed it on my router (which is otherwise 100% fine). They've gone on line to the router's website and tinkered around, and each time, after about an hour, I was able to print and scan from my Mac.  Then a few days later, the same problem recurs.
