After clearing a paper jam on my HP Officejet 4650, the paper is still getting jammed. I've cleared the jam, restarted the printer and it still gets jammed in the same area, but no sign of a paper jam. What should I do? This printer acts as our office fax machine, therefore it is important to get this handle asap. Thanks.

Hey @Nikkilynn1,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are having some issues with paper jams in your Officejet 4650 e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that.
To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done this document outlines how to troubleshoot paper jams in your printer.
If after following the above you are still seeing the message, the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP Support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom to discuss options based on your warranty.
Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to clear the error or reach some resolution with support, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Hi,
If the paper jam always happened at the same area, you might want to try the following.
1. Check whether the paper path cover is fully snapped in.
For the printer parts name, check it out here http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04783165
- Lift up the cartridge access door on top.
- Take out the paper path cover and put it back. You should hear a 'click' sound once it is fully snapped in.
- Close back the cartridge access door.
2. Ensure the cartridge access door is closed to enable proper paper pinching during printing.
3. Make sure there is not obvious curl on the paper edges.
