I am trying to print on 5 X 7 envelopes.  I am sure they are a touch bigger because they have to slip over a 5 X 7 invitation.  But never the less a very standard size for invitations or holiday cards.  I am using a microsoft template in publisher for a 5 X 7 envelope but when I print it says that there is a mismatch in the size I selected.  I am not seeing 5 X 7 as a choice which totally baffels me since it is such a standard size.  I tried setting the printer to 5 X  7 plain paper and skipping the "envelope" term but I got the same message.  Help please

What settings did you set in the Printing preferences.

Because I created in as an envelope template in publisher it defaulted to "envelope". The size was not given as an option. I tried each size. I the tried to skip my publisher document and just pretend it was a 5x7 plain paper card but it decreed that it was a mismatch of paper and settings.

What size did you select in the Devices and Printers > Printing preferences of the printer?
