Greetings.

I am looking for instructions on successfully printing envelopes on the Officejet 8600 Pro.  The printer tries to feed a printer, but the envelopes stop feeding as they are pulled in.  Using plain old Monarch #10s.  I have seen that I should turn off the media auto-detect feature.  Help.

Thanks

If you are using Word you can make the choice of layout/label/envelope on the print page before clcking on "print". You have to designate the size of the envelope you are using in the drop-down menu options.

I have followed directions explicitly for loading envelopes, but still cannot print #10 envelopes. It keeps giving me the message, " Paper detected does not match paper size or type selected. Make sure paper size and type selected is correct and try agai."  I am using Word and have selected #10 eveleopes. Only five envelopes are in the tray. What else can I do? I had no trouble printing envelopes on my ole 4500 all in one.
