I have tried both solutions, but still the same problem. I returned my HP and wait for a replacement.

from indonesia. I too am having the same problem. Brand new, right out of the box. Here's what I've seen: Initialization doesn't complete, but I can press the home icon. Noticed an alert symbol over the toner button. please i need your help fastly. Thank you.

Hi @Reynaldo1992,

I understand that the printer is going into initializing and the one toner has  a alert symbol over it. I would like to help you out today. Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

I would suggest to remove the toners and reinsert them again. If they won't rotate, you can manually move the carousel.

Open the scanner lid and the lid below that so you should see the toners.

On the left hand side of the black frame, you will see a oval hole with a white plastic piece inside it.

You will need to use something to push down on the white plastic piece, at the same time push the carousel backwards, don't touch the toner though. It has to be in the exact right position in order to be able to pull the toner out.

I included a picture with the general area, where to use the manual feature on the printer.

Hi

I am having the same problem. I've had mine for a year or so and the "Initialising" came up on the screen and wouldn't go away. I saw that the Printer supplies screen had an issue with all supplies so I thought that all the cartridges have run out and need to be replaced. So I did that and had to do it manually as the cartridges wouldn't move to the front when you pressed to them to do so. So I had to rotate each cartridge to replace. 4 new cartrides later and $400, it was working again for 1 day and then the same initialising message came up. I've tried everything from removing the cartridges to hard power off etc. Can you send me the instruction please?

Thanks
