I've got installed Windows 7 64-bit OS with latest updaytes. When I try to install HP LJ M1132MFP printer it says that it doesn't find the device. I tryed both manufactor's istallation disc and downloaded updates with the same result. Is there any special features with installation?

Hi Serzh,
Have you tried a new USB cable or USB Port on the computer?

Hi Serzh,
What happens when you try installing the printer on a different computer?
Take a screenshot of your USB controller tress in Device Manager, and then post it to this thread for me to review.

In Device Manager there are two devices which haven't installed drivers. One of them named as unknown USB device has ID USB\VID_03F0&PID_042A&REV_0100&MI_02. The other device has ID
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_844D1043&REV_04 and named as PCI controller Simple Communications. The unknown device disarreares when the printer is turned off, the other one doesn't. When I delete it from the Device Manager manualy and the printer is off, it seems the computer works perfectly without it. I'll try installiang printer on different computer soon and then tell you what will happen.

I changed USB cable 6 times with different cables each time from different manufacture and on 7 time it started work! And cable was from noname manufacture! I wonder if HP doesn't supply its devices with their own cables? Is it impossible for my favourite compsny?
I thank you for replies. They were usefull then.

Hi Serzh,
Glad to hear it was just a cable issue. Have a wonderful day.
