HP LaserJet P1108
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I Have a Hp laserjet P1108 printer, when i print a document it print with letter size marjin. i changed the paper size from letter to A4, in printing preferences, printing proporties and Advanced tab in that printing defaults, but it again sohws in the general tab paper available Letter but i need there A4.

 

so as soon as possible plz help me out....

I understand that you are trying to print A4 paper with your HP Laserjet p1108 printer, on Windows 7. And, I am happy to help! 

 

Change the print settings for a single print job
 
Follow these steps to change the print settings for a single print job in Windows 7.
 
  1. Open the document that you want to print. Click File, and then click Print. The Print window opens.
  2. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on the software program, the button might be Properties, Options, Printer setup, Printer, or Preferences.
  3. In the Properties dialog box, select the print properties for the current print job, and then click OK.
 
Change the default print settings for all print jobs
 
Follow these steps to change the default print settings for all print jobs.
 
  1. On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon, and then click Devices and printers.
  2. Right-click the printer icon for your product, and then click Printing preferences.
  3. Select your new default print settings, and then click OK.

Let's try turning the the double-sided printing off, and then changing the paper size to A4. Also, in printing preferences, put a check next to Use Different Paper/Covers, And see what happens. 

 

Also, please try our HP Print and Scan Doctor, in case there is a driver conflict.

This video, Setting Your Printer to Double-Sided Printing on a Windows Computer, will show you how to turn off double sided printing. Within the same settings you will find the check box for Use Different Paper/Covers, and how to change to A4 paper.

Please try the steps in this post, Printer does not obey requested commands, by my colleague @Gemini02

 

If this does not help I would recommend to Uninstall the printer software, and reinstall the printer software
