Product: HP LaserJet P2055d
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Good day!

 

Computer have Windows 7 64bit. Installed drivers in Printer Management HP Universal and PCL6 (two type). Question is when printer will be connected to USB port of computer Windows 7 will automatically choose one of the two drivers, ask to choose or will choose latest?

Hello,

 

Driver installation behavior on USB is determined by Driver Ranking which is influenced by several factors.  In general on Windows 7 if you have the standard PCL6 driver for a product installed on the system through print management, that driver will be chosen to be installed for Laserjet Products.
