HP CP4025
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Bought a refurbed CP4025n when I thought I was buying the 4025dn I already have whose fuser and transfer kit are 'Very Low'.  Tried swapping the fuser and transfer kit from the refurbed 'n' into the 'dn', but it still gives me the 'Very Low' message on both and does not seem to be a way to reset?

Hello @KipL

The product detects a new fuser using a fusible link that blows after 100 pages of printing

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Thanks for reply. So no way to reuse fuser and transfer kit from other printer? That just seems strange.

Can I switch out any other parts from the 'n' model to make it work?

I worked at HP in Boise for 13 years myself and why I bought HP for our business. Rethinking after this experience.

I think you will find that the printer will keep going without any other issues with the very low messages.

I would just use the printer with those messages until the parts fail and then I would replace them with the other parts.
