I am going digital in my office.  Is it possible to scan several multipage documents at once?  One document might be 2 pages, the next might be one page, and the next might be 3 pages...

Hi,

You can scan few documents at once but it does not know which page is the last page of the first document and which page is the first page of the third document. In short: It can't do what you want it to do automatically.

Option: you can scan few documents as one PDF file and split scanned PDF file to each document separately using a free software called PDFsam (sam = split and merge).

            http://www.pdfsam.org/download/

This free product allows you to Split one big file to many small files (such as extracting chapters from a thick book) and also to Merge many pdf files to one pdf file.

Regards.

Thank you for your reply.  The pdfsam.com reviews are positive and I will consider that option.  I have also received a tip to save the scan as one document, then "print" certain pages as pdfs to create documents out of the original document.  I will try that option first, but appreciate your prompt recommendation to use pdfsam!
