I have the printer set up with the capability of scan to email.  When I scan a document it sends an email and I receive it.  About 15 minutes later it sends me the same email again.  Is there a reason for this?   I don't want clients getting confused when they receive 2 separate emails.

Greetings @jbrbrian

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that whenever you scan to email from your printer. You are receiving it twice. Don't worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

May I know the method you are using to scan to email? (printer's front panel or printer assistant or EWS page)

Have you selected a CC option whenever you scan to email?

Recommend you to check the scan to email settings, check if you have selected an option to send you a cc of the email.

For assistance in checking the settings, please refer to this HP Article

Refer to method 2 in the article and step number 11.

(To automatically copy the sender on email messages sent from the profile, select the Auto CC checkbox.)

Let me know if this helped.

If the information I've provided was helpful,
