Scan to Network drive in domain network

Hello! I am using an OfficeJet Pro 8730 and would like to scan to a network drive. This network drive is part of a NAS that is using domain security. Local users have no rights on these drives, only domain users have. 

So I‘m trying to access them as domain user with the OfficeJet. Unfortunately I always get an incorrect user name or password error.

On the EWS, I entered my domain and tryed different users of which I know they should work. Is there anything else to do? Do I need to use the Web Jetadmin, and if so, how! Is there some kind of tutorial?

Is it an SMB shared folder and not Active Directory by any chance?

HP Digital Filing  support scanning to an A Windows (SMB) shared folder, it does not support Active Directory... may it be the reason?

yes, it‘s AD. 😞 Too bad that it won‘t work. Is this a bug to be resolved in a firmware update or was it planned that way? That would be so sad. What is the use of the Windows security options?

That is not a bug, it is by design as clearly documented by the user guide..

This level of AIO device do not support a such...

Which Windows security options do you refer to? I assume you may refer to LDAP authentication?

Digital Filing do not support AD, he printer may support LDAP as example to allow accessing users on your directory, etc. but that do not have much to do with digital filing to a network folder..

You may create an SMB folder on some client or a server as a workaround and allow this to be accessed by your users..
