My printer is suddently not "finding" computer when I'm attempting to scan. When attempting to access computer it says "make sure computer is on (it is), computer and printer are set up on same network (they are), and HP software is installed on the computer (it should be). I completed the scan doctor and it found no issues and was able to do test scan fine. What do I do?

Hello and welcome to the HP Forums!

Please let me know how your printer is connected with your pc?

Unable to communicate error generally occurs in Network printer and scanners.

Make sure the printer is connected to Wi- fi, if printer works on wireless network.

If printer works with a USB cable connection then check if that cable is connected properly between computer and printer.

Basically Scan doctor only finds problem with drivers on pc.

If connection is fine then check Scan Spooler service that is located in computer as it is an important service to work with printer or scanner.
