Scanjet G2410 scanner under Windows 10 (64-bit) is unstable:
after a SINGLE successful scan - rescan FREEZES.
I tried on three different computers, the result is about the same.
Removing all HP software (such as recommended in the article http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/Scan-Function-Lost-After-Windows-10-Upgrade..., but I was not able to take advantage of Windows cleanup utility for the termination of its support and the blocking by the operating system) and re-installing it, as well as updating the driver of the motherboard (MSI H110M PRO-D) chipset from the manufacturer's website - did not help.
It is noteworthy that if in "Devices and Printers" select "Troubleshooting" on the scanner, then issue:
"HP Scanjet G2410 is outdated USB-device that may not work with USB 3.0 - Connect the device to a USB 2.0 free port, and then click" Next '. otherwise click' Cancel '. " -
although the device is really connected to USB 2.0;
after clicking Next -
"troubleshooter was unable to automatically fix any errors found - HP Scanjet G2410 may not work correctly with USB 3.0 is not rectified.".
(I use Russian version of Windows, all messages were on Russian, I give it’s translation).
