HP OfficeJet Pro 6968

Just got this new printer.  No problem with the feeder when I make one copy.  But it doesn't feed when I try to scan the same paper using the feeder.  It scanned only from the glass.  Why?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Assumed that you have your FULL feature software installed.

If you have not, the following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once the FULL feature software is installed, start the HP Printer Assistant and then go to Scan > Save as PDF.

You need to ensure that you select the Source as "Use Document Feeder if loaded" before scanning. (as shown)

Scan Extended using ADF HP OJP 6960 series.jpg

This resource would be useful in showing you how to do that:

HP Officejet Pro 6960 series : Scan a 6 pages 2 sided document using the ADF

For more scanning tips, click here.

Hope that helps!

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
