Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
What printer are you using?
If your router and printer supports WPS, you can follow these steps:
To connect your wireless printer to your wireless router using WPS:
- Start the WPS pushbutton mode on your printer.
For instructions on starting WPS on your printer, consult your printer's manual. - Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.

In the control panel of my computer when I try to add printer it requests the WPS PIN. Where do I find this information? Also I do not know why I have "Fax - HP Office Jet 380 Series" listed under printers, but not the printer in the control panel.

Hi,
WPS Pin should be on the router.
Please select your printer (rather than the Fax) to be the Default printer.
Example as shown:
Hope that helps!

Hi,
Can you try using the Wireless Setup WIzard to connect your printer to the network?
This example should give you an idea how it's down:
HP Officejet Pro 8700, 6900 series Setup Wizard
(different printer but the approach is the same)
Thanks.
