Hi,

Are you referring to the Wifi Direct password ?  If it is, are you able to find the IP address of the printer and key that into the webpage?

This example will show you how to get the Wifi Direct password and to change it:

Thanks,

I give up!  I can not set up the printer on the computer without the WPS PIN number.  Will contact support at HP tomorrow.  I want to thank your for all your help.

Hi @windy954,

Hope you can get a resolution on the issue.

Going to ask you to try one more thing to determine if it's the router that is causing the issue - using your phone as a hotspot and trying to connect your computer to the printer.

Do note that there will be data charges (if you do not have a data plan) and defintely do not try this  if you are overseas!)

Here's a video example on how to do that:

How to Print and Scan after changing router

Try it only if you feel comfortable doing so.

Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks.

Problem resolved.  My wireless printer is  not compatible with my Bell Internet.  HP is sending me a different printer.  Plan on changing my internet provider before I try to install the new printer.

Hi @windy954

Thanks for posting back on the problem resolution.

Did you try the Phone as a Hotspot to determine this?

Have a nice day!
