I had success with viewing the supply levels by setting up the printer on my network instead of USB.  For some reason the drivers did not want to give me the information via USB, but it works via the network connected method.

Well it has been several days without a resolution to my problem.  I am beginning to believe that there is no solution.  I will find out my ink has emptied when the print stops working.  Way to go HP!!!

I opened up the printer icon and clicked on supply levels: "Information Not Available"

Same thing when I open System Preferences; Printer/Fax; Click on printer; supply levels: "Information Not Available"

 

I cannot access information on the supply levels. Can you help?

I have the same problem...print fine...scan fine...but cannot view toner supply.
