Deskjet T830

Our lareg format Deskjet T830 is staying idle and not connecting to the network or to a PC directly.

The Panel does not turn off unless unplugged from the power and is stuck on the HP logo.

The power button turns orange when its held down however, does not reboot the printer.

Switching off from the power only repeats the cycle with panel coming on with HP logo and nothing else happening.

Is this a firmware issue or does the panel need replacing? Please help.

Noted issue, try the following: powe off plotter, power on, holding power button until lights come on on contro panel. Press Home>Back>Home>Home   Printer should boot to a blue screen with an option in each corner. Press menu and then next until OOB reset is displayed. Press OK and unit will reset. Note you will have to reconfigure the unit after this procedure is performed.

Lately it seems it's the power supply failure. Search community and hp support for solutions like "Unplugging power cord when printer is ON, wait for a few minutes and plug it again" advices , but support links have more complete explanations. Also it's needed to update firmware...
