Someone used my printer and pulled out, completely removed, the photopaper tray. Now it will not go back in. AND The printer will NOT work without the photo paper tray in the printer. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this dang photo paper tray back in this printer. There are no online diagrams, no instructions, no manuals, nothing on the printer, nothing, no where. PLEASE HELP!!! NO, it's no long under warranty by about 6 months.

Hi @Pegatwork,
Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you're unable to get the photo tray back into the printer. I will certainly do my best to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.
The photo tray is not supposed to be removable, which is why you're having a hard time finding documentation to reinstall it.
The photo tray needs to be slid back into the groove on the input tray.
- Remove the output tray.
- Slide the input tray out as far as you can. Try to slide the photo tray back into the groove.
NOTE: It will be difficult to install the photo tray without removing the input tray.
I found two videos that may help. Please use at your own discretion.
