Hello,

I have a photosmart premium C310 that has beens working perfectly.

It is connected to my computers through wifi. Since a couple of days when I try to print I get this message:

The printer may not exist or is unavailable at this time.

However when I go on my HP printer home page, it prints the test page and also communicates with my printer if I want to scan.

Please help!

Thanks

Download and install this: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907

Restart your Mac.

Reset the printing system:

- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and then next to the "Use" pulldown, select the printer model (not AirPrint). Wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.

I just started getting this message for the first time after a year of successful printing on Deskjet 3050 all-in-one J610 series printer. I'm running OSX 10.7.5 and haven't made any software or hardware changes recently. Printer is wireless and I can print on it from another MacBook and a Ubuntu system, but not from my OSX 10.7.5 MacBook. Help please!

Hi, I've got a Photosmart 7510 and we recently moved.  My printer sayis it has found the wireless network, but then I get the message that it may not exist or is unavailable.  I've gone through all the steps suggested for the other user but they aren't working.

On the front of the printer: Setup > Wireless > Restore Defaults.  Next, run the Wireless Setup WIzard in the same Wireless menu.

If that does not work, we need to change settings on your router.  What router are you using?

Been having the same issue for approx two months, not sure if this had something to do with another issue associated with an Apple update for Office Suite,  around the same time but this was a fix! and I am now happy. Thanks.
