Color LaserJet CP1215
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I used to use the CP1215 for printing on Windows 8 and previous Windows builds I always had access to Toolbox. But now I can't find it anywhere on my PCs made by Sony, Asus, Acer and HP running Windows 10 and connected  to the printer via USB.  The software used for printer installation is that which is currently recommended by HP. Where is Toolbox?  I need to use it.

Hello@ESE-MWL,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I have read your post and understand that you need assistance in finding the missing software. I will definitely help you.

The new software update doesn’t have the option called “Tool Box” separately.

It’s all integrated on to the HP Printer assistant, which you can find an icon on the desktop.

Hope that answers your question. Let me know for more.

Thanks  Resolv_S for your reply.

Before posting about my current problem, I had already tried HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0. Is that the same as the HP Printer assistant you mentioned? I couldn't find HP Printer assistant anywhere in Windows 10: it's not on desktop and it doesn't appear in search.

Anyway, HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0 reported no problems or problems corrected and a printed sample page  without errors. However, when I try to print my brochures, the problem remains. I would easily resolve this using Toolbox as the printing needs to be aligned - I've done it many times before.

What can I do to resolve this problem?

Regards,

Michael

Hey@ESE-MWL,

Thanks for the response.

HP Printer Assistant replace the HP Solution center which had the tool box you preferred.

There should be an icon on your desktop main screen which says HP Printer assistant or the model number of the printer.

Hope this helps. Please share for more assistance.
