I've had the HP Photosmart 6520 printer for about 3 months, it was working perfectly and suddenly out of nowhere, I cannot get jobs to print.

I click print, select the printer, and it makes the connection, but then the HP Printer Utility pops up and says "Unable to add document to print job" and then the queue clears, job disappears and nothing ever happens. I tried shutting the printer off, tried re-adding the device...nothing works.

I am in the middle of several huge projects. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm on a iMac, OS 10.7.5.

Hi 1red-head,

Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you are having some issues when attempting to print from your Mac.

Please click on the following document on Uninstalling the Printer Software.  Once you have the software removed, please click on the following link to Repair disk permissions.

The next step I suggest we take would be to use the following link for How to reset the printing system.

Once all of these steps have been taken, please click on the last link for the HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer Full Feature Software and Drivers - Mac OS X 10.6, OS X 10.7....

If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.

Thank you for your time.

Cheers,    Smiley Happy
