USB-Printer LaserJet 1018 via FritzBox and Mac OS Monterey

Hi everyone!

I own a great old Laserjet 1018 and am facing trouble integrating it in my current setup. This is:

1 MacBook with OS12.2.1, 2 Windows 10 PCs, some iOS Devices and some Android Devices, Router: FritzBox 7590 AX

1. I cannot find a functioning Mac driver for this old printer, does anyone have a link where to find one?

2. The smartest solution would be connection of the USB-Printer directly to the Router and use it as a network printer. I tried this with my FritzBox and she identifies the printer, but still I cannot get it working from the computers. What do I have to care of?

First download and install the HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:

Then go to Preferences > Printers then Add the printer, follow the steps from the next video:
