Dear All,

Is there a way to update the firmware of an HP1020 Laserprinter?

The printer mixes up pages and sometimes prints parts of one page followed by parts of the next page. I have already reinstall the latest version of the driver but it doesn't work. Thank you in advance.

Best,

Farrokh

Good Afternoon @Habibzadeh,

This is a great location for extra support! I see that you are having issues printing and want to know if the firmware can be updated on the printer. I would be glad to help you.

I checked online and there are no firmware updates for this model under any operating system available.

Try the steps in Step 1, they provide the information to clear out the spool folder on the computer and it should help with this issue:  HP Printers - Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Windows).

If you are still having issues, download and run the  Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Let me know the results.

To say thanks, you can click on the "Thumbs Up" and if the issue is resolved you can click on the "Accept as Solution" button.  Please let me know the outcome. Cheers!
