Hi everyone!
We are wondering whether we could have a printer that we can power using a Solar Power. The goal is to reduce electricity bills costs and use solar power for printing and Photocopy.
Is there any HP printer (or any that you know) which uses less power and could be powered by solar power? We are also looking for a Photocopier that could do the same.
Or any of these 3-in-1 printers that we may run with solar power? If we use this printer for photocopies, does the cost of buying a new cartidge come up just like may be what we would pay for electricity?
Do you have an idea on how we could get this done?
Please, I will appreciate any suggestion.

What are your printer specs?
In order to browse the available models that HP offers we need to know more about what kind of printer and features you want first. From there we can browse the models and see if one can match your criterea.
For example see this guide and post back your specs to this thread:

You need to be very specific about this requirement. HP doesnt make any printers that are "solar power rated". Instead we would need to look at thier most efficient energy star rated machines and see if it can meet the output from your solar power source. How much juice do you have to work with in the first place?

The cost of a cartridge does not go up or down depending if your are photocopying, printing, faxing or anything else you can think of. Print is print and lasers use toner cartridges to print toner onto paper. If you are printing something then you will use the appropriate amount of consumables to create that output. Your cartridges will deplete accordingly and need to be replaced as necessary.
