Hi Karl-

I don't have good news for you.   I did some research and the OJ 4500 was released prior to WebScan being supported.    Therefore we do not have a direct way to scan to your RT device.    And as you are aware, RT devices have very limited support other than what the OS provides, so there's no HP software updates, Windows Updates, etc.    At this time we don't have plans to add networking support to this generation of device in the immediate future.     If your RT tablet has a memory slot, you could scan from the 4500 to a memory card, and then transfer them that way.    Sorry I don't have any better options for you.

I cannot scan becasue I don't have the shortcut of the Printer. Before I used Windos 7 and I had no problem, but with Windows 8 I cannot have the shortcut, I even cannot find where the printer sofware downloaded. I dont have any problem with Printing and cpying. Only scanning got problem.

How to scan? Inform me the step please urgently

I have an HP Deskjet 2050 All In One and wanted to use HP Scan and Capture.  It is not detecting my printer.  It is asking for the IP Address or Host Name.  Can someone help me with this?

Why does HP Scan and Capture think I am French? My computer is set to English UK. I have tried uninstalling this app and reinstalling it several times but it always comes back in French and there is no way to change the language inside the app.

HP Scan and Capture does not have any language settings of its own... the OS determines all of this.     Double check your language / region settings in the control panel to make sure you don't have your language set to French.     Your region should be set to English (UK) as you already indicated.   If that still doesn't work, we will investigate more from our side.   I assume that other apps on your system are displaying in English, correct?

My computer is an old compaq running XP and my printer is an HP Office Jet 6500.  Everything works fine untill I try to attach a Scan to E mail the scanner will only send to an option that should send it as an E mail, but it dont.  Looking in Adobe I dont have any scans saved since December, and cant get these saved there.  The scanner only wants to sent them to the mail program
